| The
IDEAL S1-QC can be installed singly, or in banks of two high,
illustrated as our model S12-QC. The two-high unit s can be
set to re-run either lifting or rejects, or arranged as parallel
flow for higher capacity. The S12-QC's flexibility and easily
changed cylinders mean fast, profitable cleaning; regardless
of seed size. A very popular arrangement for grading RICE. It
can also be arranged in multiple cylinders illustrated as our
model S-22QC, that is, two-wide by two-high; again, as a series
flow for regrading purposes, or parallel flow of cylinders for
high capacity (using same cylinder pockets in all four cylinders).
Because of our TAPERED cylinders, all cylinders will completely
clean out when run with the feed shut off for a few minutes.

| CARTER
DAY - Precision Graders |
Carter Day has been manufacturing quality processing
equipment for over 100 years. We continue this tradition of quality
equipment with the Modular Precision Sizer.
The Carter Day Modular Precision Sizers have the performance efficiencies
and capacities for virtually any sizing/separating requirement for
seed corn, sunflower, barley, wheat, oats, rice, shelled peanuts,
soybean, and most other free flowing granular material. The Modular
Precision Sizers utilize four different styles of sizing cylinders
with over 125 different size apertures.
Our Precision Sizers can be purchased in either 12" or 24"
diameter cylinder models. Each model offers the same drive system
and features. The 24" model offers twice the capacity of the
12" with a smaller footprint than two comparable 12" units,
and is dimensioned to convienietly fit in cargo containers. Both the
12" and 24" cylinders offer easy change out, the 12"
is one-piece light weight shell and the 24" a manageable three
piece unit.
Modular design allows reconfiguration in the field if processing needs
change. We have the ability to stack both our 12" Cylinders and
24" Cylinders to a 3 units high and 2 wide.
As the product enters the cylinders, the rotating action presents
the material in the most efficient manner to the close tolerance perforations
to provide a precise separation. Each cylinder has patented indexed
cleaning wheels located at the top of the cylinder where near sized
material is gently pushed back into the cylinder without damaging
the grain.
