Crippen R & R/S model Reel/Scalpers and Aspirators are an
excellent choice for high capacity removal of large materials
and light fines from a variety of products, particularly those
with high moisture content.
Incoming product is metered onto a large primary wire-mesh scalping
reel. Good product passes through the mesh and is gently captured
and transferred by internal baffles while the large unwanted
material is carried over. The R/S models have a secondary reel
that reclaims any good product from the large trash and an aspiration
system which removes light foreign material from the good product
prior to discharging from the unit.
Crippen Reel Scalpers can be used as stand-alone pre-cleaners
or in conjunction with high capacity air/screen machines, also
available from Crippen. All units are designed to be user friendly
and allow for easy clean up.

Proven, Over-the-Roll feed hopper prevents mechanical damage by
eliminating pinch points. The exclusive, staggered feedroll provides
a uniform flow rate into the air system without pulsating, even

CRIPPEN GRAVITY SEPARATORS are the finest available. When

Gravity
Separators are capable of separating dry granular particles
of uniform size which differ in specific gravity. They are
employed throughout the seed industry to remove light undesirable
