BRAND-NEW VERTICAL RICE WHITENING MACHINE
The
brand-new vertical rice whitening machine system is now a reality
under CSF's research and development program. By means of one
vertical abrasive rice whitening machine in combination with
two vertical friction rice whitening machines, the new 3-in-1
combination unit is a highly efficient, less costly, energy-saving,
rice-whitening mechanism, replacing the accustomed devices of
conventional horizontal and outdated vertical rice polishers. The new vertical rice whitening machine adopts the updated rice
whitening method which employs the primary grain weight to maintain
the proper pressure within the milling chamber taking merely
one third in strength previously required for outlet weights.
Consequently, each and every rice grain may receive an
even and intact bran-removing process for high productivity,
less broken rices, high quality of rices, space saving and low-cost
installation.
FEATURES:
Even and Intact Rice-Whitening Process.
Thanks to new scientec, a breakthrough from conventional
process is made possible.
In addition, the maximal visual and tasty effect will
be produced by the even, whole rices whitened.
Easy
to Operate.
Since new techniques are employed, the unit can be operated
easily without any special training to obtain the whiteness
and brightness of rice to be whitened. Besides, each and every unit has its own independent
switches and adjustable weighter.
Extended
Service Life of Consumable Parts.
In consideration of the longevity of consumable parts
for the machine set, all particular parts are made of special
materials, processed by unusual methods and hardened under
reinforced physical conditions.
The service life is thus greatly extended, and its
durability, reassured.
Neater
Working Environment.
Hermetic in design, the machine set will suck out the
bran completely by the hi-capacity bran-suction system without
leaving any residue within or dispersing any bran around outside
the machine.
Compact
in Design for Easy Installation and Only Little Floor Space
is Needed.
Small in size, it takes little time and costs slightly
to plant the machine. Basically
an assembled combination set of rice whitening machine, there
is practically no need for elevator between the units, ridding
of extra installation cost, expenses and floor space. Brokens
rices resultant from elevator operations are reduced indirectly
at the same time. The machine set is therefore the least in cost and time-consumption,
but with maximum productivity and effect.
Highly
Precision, Solidly Built and Easy to Maintain and replace
the parts.
New design and structure promise faster change of consumable
parts and better time-saving.

RICE
WHITENING PROCESS:
When the brown rices enter into the hopper atop the primary
vertical abrasive rice whitening machine equipped with abrasive
rollers and they will be pushed into the milling chamber by
screw iron roller. The
bran is being removed at this stage while the abrasive rollers
proceed with abrasive motion on surfaces of brown rices.
Subsequently, the whitened rices come out from the
outlet and flow into the secondary vertical friction rice
whitening machine. The
bran is then discharged from the screen and sucked away from
the outlet underneath the unit by blower.
Once more, the rices are delivered upwards by the secondary
vertical friction rice whitening machine processing.
The white rices will first go through the hopper before
they are sent further inside the machine by feeding
screw iron roller and pushed into the milling chamber
upwards from bottom position by another screw iron roller
on the main shaft. As
the milling roller rotates, the rices rub against one another
by friction and peel off the bran, and the rices are discharged
from the outlet upwards but the bran is sucked away from the
outlet underneath the machine by a blower. The high-pressure air created by the compressor
behind the unit will not only minimize the temperature within
the milling chamber, but also prevent the grains from deterioration
due to high temperature which will reduce bran’s adherence
to whitened rices.
As far as the whitening process is concerned, the third vertical
friction rice whitening machine is exactly the same as the
secondary one with the only exception of the precision dampening
function furnished by the former one.
In actual practice, the grain surfaces are dampened
for cleaning and polishing.
The features of this special device is to mix the pressurized
water, running inside the shaft by a precision pump with optionally
adjustable water volume from outside, with the air to produce
the mist which mingles with the white rices within the milling
chamber. By means
of friction by among the rices, the whitened rices are brightened
and nearly crystal-like, and more-importantly, there is a
certain kind of economic effect when it comes to the lasting
storage.
UPDATED
RICE POLISHER BY WEET POLISHING GIVING REFINED, WASH-FREE
CRYSTAL RICE
Water
polished rice is the dream come true for the century and it
is exquisitely realized by HERCULES know-how.
The hi-capacity HERCULES MRP-40 rice polisher removes the
bran remained in the surface and starch layer attached to
the longitudinal grooves of the grain, producing the shiny
white rice calling for no washing, i.e., it is a kind of wet
wash-free rice polisher, a newly developed mechanism of ingenuity.
When the surface of a bright white rice grain becomes so smooth,
it will not create hazy water in dipping. Besides, the rice
surface, free of slight powder, moisture of tiny pockets containing
worm eggs with untidy elements, will be safe and held harmless
from mildew and worms in storage.
It is a very difficult technique to polish mechanically the
white rice grains into bright ones. HERCULES is the one and
only choice in wet polishing. The conventional dry polishing
produces broken grain and less unity. Besides, the flat taste
is its prime defect.
CHARACTERISTICS OF RICE PROCESSED BY WET POLISHING:
1. No washing by hands
The polished solidly bright white rice is free of untidy factors
in longitudinal grooves, turning into bran-powderless wash-free
grain.
2. Sweet in flavor
Once the starch powder layer attached to the longitudinal
grooves is removed, there will be no odor of stale rice, no
cracklings under water and the whole rice after cooking assures
its genuine tastefulness.
3. Safe for storage
As the white rice surface is not covered by powder, water
content, bacteria and stains, it is smooth and bright instead
of coarse looking and safe storage is therefore possible.

The most
important consideration in a rice mill is the total recovery
of white rice and the low broken rice percentage.
The Hercules pearler has been thoroughly tested and consistently
proven to be the best rice milling machine of its kind. An
increase in recovery and decrease in broken rice is guaranteed
over whatever type of huller you may have.
The development of this pearler has been due to two important
factors. The need of a machine to give the largest yield of
whole rice in view of the great importance of rice as food
for the most populated areas of the world. The second factor
is to obtain a more beautiful grain.
CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Paddy can also be husked and hulled in the pearler. This
eliminates any paddy from appearing in the milled rice.
2. Jet air from the roll in the milling chamber provides the
means for efficiently cleaning bran from the polished rice.
3. Durability of parts subject to wearing is extremely high.
The milling chamber screen has been heat treated and the roll
is made of exceptionally hardened steel.
4. Rice breakage is extremely low, because of the scientific
engineering involved in the development of the machine.

The REMO VJIII sheller/polisher is a new milling concept which
will shell and polish cereal grains, particularly rice, in one
operation. This unique machine applies two basic milling principles,
abrasion and friction action, in a single milling chamber. Ambient
air drawn through the hollow shaft of the machine is used to
aspirate and cool the grain in the milling chamber as the hull
or bran or both is being removed.
EXCLUSIVE
ADVANTAGES
The shelling (hull removal) and the polishing (bran removal)
are performed simultaneously in a one step operation. This
milling machine effectively has the potential to eliminate
paddy separators due to its ability to accept paddy rice at
its input feed and deliver milled rice at its grain discharge.
The hulls and bran are removed by air through the air exhaust
opening in the bottom of the machine. The finish on the milled
grain has a brilliance and a transparency never before achieved
with conventional milling machines. This machine has proved
to be an effective sheller for grains other than rice. The
capacity per unit on brown rice is a nominal 220# hp-hr. (pounds
per horsepower-hour).
ROTOR
The milling rotor is equipped with two emery blades, which
are radially adjustable. The adjustment feature allows the
operator to control the clearance between the milling components
in the screen holder and the milling rotor. The holes in the
milling rotor permit the passage of ambient air through the
milling chamber, cooling the grains and removing the grain
by-products. The top of the milling rotor is capped with a
contoured grain ejection device to accelerate the removal
of the milled grain at the discharge.
SCREEN
HOLDER
The screen holder is a multi-sided circular chamber equally
divided into screen and emery segments. The emery segments
have thousands of sharp cutting edges and they are radially
adjustable. This adjustment feature allows the operator to
obtain full useful milling life from these components and
to control the desired clearance in the milling chamber. The
perforated screen segments allow the air and by-products to
exit the milling chamber and contributes to friction milling.
The milling components of the screen holder are easily replaced
or adjusted; the screens are removed in the axial direction
and the emery segments are removed in the radial direction.
MILLING
CHAMBER ASSEMBLY
The components that comprise the milling chamber are the rotor
assembly and the screen holder assembly. The space between
the working elements can be seen. Also the difference in clearance
between the rotor emery blades and the screen holder assembly,
as well as the rotor body and the screen holder assembly.
In one area, abrasive milling is taking place while friction
is milling occurring in the alternate areas. This is a unique
application of combining the abrasive and friction milling
principles in a single chamber.
Continuing
with the recognized and widely known quality of the Grain
Polisher VJ-III, now we can offer a large variety of possibilities
with the three new models for easy and adequate selection
in any application.
